This Memorial Day, the Peachtree Corners community will gather to recognize and honor the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who served and gave their lives in the line of duty. On Monday, May 31 at 11:30 am, join us at the Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument as a local Gold Star family is honored and remarks from Mayor Mike Mason and Colonel Bob Ballagh (U.S.A. Retired), past president of the Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument Association, are shared.
Memorial Day ceremonies on the Town Green are hosted by the City of Peachtree Corners. Flags will be lowered to half-staff at sunrise. Pre-ceremony music begins at 11:15 am, with remaining ceremonial activities following at 11:30 am. The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes. For a detailed schedule of events, click here.
To continue to keep everyone safe, 100 seats will be available which should allow for social distancing. We look forward to commemorating the courage and patriotism of those we’ve lost while in the U.S. military service with our local community.
